SULLIVAN COUNTY, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) — Two churches in the area have teamed up to provide those impacted by the recent tornado with a way to easily get essentials.
Grace Church in Noblesville, Indiana, and Sullivan First Christian Church in Sullivan, Indiana are bringing the Mobile Pantry by the Grace Center to Sullivan individuals and families in need. The Mobile Pantry is a 53-foot-long trailer that has been supplied with free groceries and other necessary household items.
As the deadly tornado that touched down in Sullivan County on Friday, March 31 destroyed over 200 homes and buildings in the area, many residents were left without essentials like food and water.
One of the buildings that was destroyed was a local food pantry that has since closed due to the tornado. To help serve the community, the Mobile Pantry will be on-site at the Sullivan First Christian Church on Thursday, April 27, and Friday, April 28 to provide important items to up to 400 families.

In an effort to raise additional funds, Grace Church is also working to support the Mobile Pantry throughout the summer to provide more relief for the people of Sullivan.
