TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) — Longtime rock guitarist and political firebrand Ted Nugent is set to take the stage at Terre Haute’s The Mill concert venue this summer.
Ted Nugent began his career in 1963 with the band The Amboy Dukes before going solo with his debut album Ted Nugent in 1975. Selling more than 40 million albums throughout his long career, Nugent’s first three solo albums were certified multi-platinum in the United States.
Nugent is scheduled to perform on Saturday, July 22 at The Mill.

Named Detroit’s Greatest Guitar Player by the readers of MLive, Nugent has a number of classic rock songs to call upon when trying to get a crowd going. The song ‘Stranglehold’ is ranked #24 in UltimateClassicRock.com’s greatest 100 classic rock songs list and ranked #31 for Greatest Guitar Solos by Guitar World. ‘Cat Scratch Fever’ was ranked the #32 best hard rock song of all time by VH1.
Nugent has also been featured on shows like VH1’s Behind the Music, and A&E’s Biography.
Tickets to the performance cost $115 for VIP Standing Pit, $55 for VIP (seats allowed), and $25 for general admission and will go on sale on Friday, April 28, at 10 a.m.
