TERRE HAUTE/SULLIVAN, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) — Mod Pizza and Popeyes will be hosting a fundraiser to help the residents in Sullivan who were affected by the deadly tornado on March 31, 2023.
Mod Pizza will be hosting the fundraiser on Tuesday, April 11, and Popeyes will be doing it on Thursday, April 13. One hundred percent of the sales made those days will go to the Wabash Valley Community Foundation to give to Sullivan.
Owner Scott Womack said it’s important to come together in times of need.
“I’ve personally been through a tornado, so I’ve seen devastation up close. This is you know, have been devastating to these people and to lose everything,” Womack said. “So it’s a good opportunity for us to as a community to step up and do what we can.”
For those not able to make it to Mod Pizza or Popeyes, they can still donate at wvcf.org.
