TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) — One person has been taken to a nearby hospital for treatment of smoke inhalation following a house fire in Terre Haute Friday.
Firefighters were dispatched to the 3300 block of N 10th St. a little before 10 a.m. Friday.

Terre Haute Police Chief Bill Barry said the first engine company to arrive was able to quickly knock down the fire. Crews remained on scene for approximately 2 hours.
Berry said two occupants were treated on scene for non-critical injuries with one of them being taken to an area hospital for smoke inhalation. Red Cross has been contacted to assist the displaced residents.
Investigators determined the cause of the fire to be electrical in nature.
