TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) — A community meeting will be taking place in the Terre Town neighborhood where city officials and Indiana American Water will present information regarding a potential expansion of water service to the area.
Flyers have been going out to the area notifying residents of the Aug. 30 meeting.
Mayor Duke Bennett and Councilwoman Cheryl Loudermilk will host the neighborhood forum along with Indiana American Water to gauge neighborhood interest in expanding water service in the Terre Town area.
Indiana American Water said they would be sharing the benefits of their services and their program’s details with residents.
This meeting will be held at Terre Town Elementary School, on Aug. 30 starting at 6 p.m.
This is the first neighborhood in Terre Haute that will hold one of these meetings with other neighborhoods expected to follow.
