TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) – An annual favorite ten day event is making its return to Fairbanks Park
The 40th annual Banks of the Wabash Festival begins May 26 at 6 p.m.
Different specials will be going on throughout the event.
On Thursday all rides will cost one ticket per person. On Memorial Day the event will offer two-for-one wrist bands.
General manager of Luehrs Ideal Rides Andrew Schoendienst said he’s excited to be in Terre Haute.
“It’s always our first location that we come to in the state of Indiana of the year,” Schoendienst said. “And it’s a great kick off to summer and we’re happy to celebrate it with the citizens of Terre Haute. Great way to get away from everything in life and come out here and have a good time.”
The last day of the event is Saturday June 4.
