TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) — One of three men charged after a deadly shooting at a Terre Haute house party in 2020 has been sentenced according to court documents.
David Farrell has pleaded guilty to a charge of criminal recklessness. Under the plea agreement Farrell earned credit for time served, the balance of the sentence was suspended and he was placed on probation. Farell was one of three people arrested after an incident at a house party on Sep. 18, 2021 at 6th and Poplar streets.
ISU Student Valentina Delva was shot and killed while leaving the party.
In addition to Farrell, Wesley Meadows and Darius Jenkins were also arrested and charged with criminal recklessness.
Their court cases are still pending.
