Terre Haute Women’s Conference returned in-person at the campus of Saint Mary-of-the-Woods College.
The annual conference was hosted by the Terre Haute Chamber of Commerce. The Chamber of Commerce was very intentional about the women they invited to speak at the conference.
Allison Barber spoke at the conference and shared her journey to becoming the CEO of Indiana Fever.
“I have been around many role models that have inspired me,” Barber said.
Jennifer Magley also attended the conference and spoke about the importance of moving forward.

“It’s not about falling down, it’s about how we get back up,” Magley said. “There is no shame if you lose your job or if you are going through a difficult time, the beauty and the power are in rising above,” she said.
During the conference, the Chamber of Commerce awarded Karen Harding with the Women’s Excellence in Leadership award. Harding is the CEO of Chances and Services for Youth, and has been with the non-for-profit for the past 21-years.
“Being recognized for the work that our whole group does, is very exciting because working in a non-profit is definitely not one person, it is a whole team.”
