TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) – The Road Runners Club of America awarded $1,000 to the Wabash Valley Road Runners Club.
The money will go towards the ‘Lace it Up’ Kids Running Program.
The goal of the RRCA’s Kids Run the Nation Program is to help establish and support locally managed youth running programs to every school and community across the United States.
‘Lace it Up’ Program Director Sarah Gadberry said that she’s thrilled to be able to support the youth runners in the club.
“When they get older they understand the importance of just being healthy, not just running but being healthy and being active,” Gadberry said.
