TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) — A memorial ceremony was held Saturday at the CANDLES Holocaust Museum in Terre Haute to honor the late Michael “Mickey” Kor.
Kor was a Holocaust survivor and husband to Eva Kor. Eva Kor is the founder of the CANDLES Holocaust Museum and Education Center.
Dozens attended the ceremony including Mickey’s son, Alex Kor.
During the ceremony, stories were told of Mickey Kor’s life followed by a short Kaddish prayer amongst those in attendance. The celebration ended in a toast of Mickey’s favorite drink, Coca-Cola.
