VIGO CO, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) — The Vigo County Sheriff’s Office released the identity of a man found dead at the Days Inn and Suites in Terre Haute Saturday afternoon; a death investigation is underway, Sheriff John Plasse said.
The victim was identified as 47-year-old Trevor Montgomery of Vigo County. According to officials, Terre Haute Police Department was dispatched to the hotel at 12:25 p.m. after a hotel staff member found Montgomery inside of a hotel room. The Vigo County Sheriff’s Office was called to the scene to investigate the incident.
The investigation is currently ongoing. Plasse said more information and other details will be released at a later time.
