TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) — 3 Sisters Investments will collaborate with the Vigo County School Corporation to create planter boxes to help decorate the 12 Points neighborhood.
These boxes will be manufactured at one of the local high schools and then delivered to every school in the county.
Each school will design its specific box and afterwards the boxes will be put around the 12 Points neighborhood.
“We want them to really go out and just create something very colorful and find something meaningful to them and what they really envision and what kind of message they want to send out to the community,” said 3 Sisters Investments owner Mark Baker.
Organizers say this was an opportunity to get all students in the community involved towards a common goal.
Baker says the revitalization of 12 Points is for everyone and these planter boxes will show that.
