KNOX COUNTY, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) – An Oaktown couple is facing multiple drug charges after a search of their home revealed large quantities of methamphetamine, psychedelic mushrooms, marijuana and various legend drugs.
While serving an arrest warrant on Nicole Benson, 38, for felony theft in Gibson County, an Indiana State Trooper said he saw a meth pipe “in plain view.” Following a search of the residence, Benson and her boyfriend, Stanley Eck, 32, who was also home at the time, were both arrested and taken to the Knox County Jail pending posting of bond.
Benson was charged with several counts involving dealing and possession of drugs. Eck was charged with multiple counts of possession as well as maintaining a common nuisance.
