VIGO Co., Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) — The Vigo County School Corporation announced Saturday that a staff member at Ouabache Elementary School and a student at Meadows Elementary School tested positive for COVID-19.
They said the student and staff member were on school grounds during their infectious period.
According to school officials, VCSC students and staff have been noticed and will only need to quarantined if contacted by a contact tracer.
The school corporation is working closely with the Vigo County Health Department and contact tracers.
