TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) — Chances and Services has announced its 2020 dancing participants for Dancing with the Terre Haute Stars.
There will be some changes to this year’s event. That includes limited guest capacity and guidelines set in place by the state of Indiana and Indiana State University to be followed. CASY will offer a live-stream service of the November event.
Dancing with the Terre Haute Stars has been hosted by Chances and Services for Youth since 2007, the event has had 162 participants and has raised more than $1.8 million for CASY programs.
Programs help Terre Haute youth from “cradle to college,” programs that funds from Dancing with the Terre Haute Stars have benefited include: Before and After School Care, Camp Rave, Safe Kids/Car Seats, Teen Court, Tobacco-Free Vigo, iLead and Big Brother Big Sisters of the Wabash Valley.
Dancers for the 2020 dancing with the Terre Haute Stars are Molly Pabst, Stacey Dorman, Cache Ellis, Jennifer Mullen-Perry, Molly Barrett, Lindsay Hunter, Tiffany Woodward, Chris Olds, Greg Sloan, Dr. Alex Kor, Carlene Sakbun and WTWO’s very own Taylor Johnson.
Dancing with the Terre Haute Stars will take place November 20th and the Hulman Center on Indiana State University’s campus. The event features a two-minute dance competition between the stars and an online auction.
