TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) — Holocaust survivor and long-time Terre Haute resident Eva Kor now has a memorial in the city.
Her memorial, located at the Highland Lawn Cemetery, was dedicated with a special ceremony Sunday.
Her son Alex Kor said close friends joined in both in person and through Zoom.
The ceremony was used as a time to reflect on Eva’s life after her passing over a year ago while on her annual trip to Poland.
Kor adds that he wants everyone to continue his mother’s life work, as well as protect her name and legacy.
