SULLIVAN COUNTY, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) — A Sullivan County woman has been charged with attempted murder after a shooting Monday night in Carlisle, Indiana.
The incident happened before 8 p.m. Monday after authorities were called to the scene of a gas station at Old Highway 41 south in Sullivan County.
Investigators found 59-year-old Faron Brown of Carlisle was shot after leaving the gas station and had an interaction with 65-year-old Susan J. Brown of Carlisle.
Faron was transported to hospital care and investigators recovered a handgun in the gas station parking lot.
Susan Brown was arrested by Indiana State Police Tuesday without incident. She’s being held at the Sullivan County Jail on a $50,000 cash only bond. She’s charged with attempted murder.
Faron Brown is currently receiving medical treatment for his injuries.
