VINCENNES, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV)– Vincennes University will open new French Quarter style apartments for students in Fall 2020.
Most of the apartments will be three bedroom units and will house up to 92 students.
The university hopes this will attract students who are pursuing bachelor’s degrees and higher to live on campus.
Chuck Johnson, Vincennes University president, said they want to give students options.
“It adds more options for students, affordable options for students who want to come to Vincennes university. It offers flexibility for those students, who want the convenience of university owned housing and the opportunity for a meal plan and such. But they also want the convenience of being next to campus. But it does give a nice aesthetic addition to the community as well,” Johnson said.
