TERRE HAUTE, Ind. — Vigo County School Corporation released a statement on the departure of its chief financial officer Bruce Perry.
Reports Perry was no longer employed with the district were confirmed last month; however, the school has provided few details about what they called a personnel issue.
Superintendent Dr. Robert Haworth Tuesday stated, “The VCSC thanks Bruce for his service to the school corporation. While we disagreed on how to move the school corporation forward, we wish Bruce the best on his future opportunities.”
VCSC also provided a statement from Perry:
“I felt that we did some good while I served as CFO. Often, there comes a time when professionals disagree,” he said. “I thank VCSC for my time here and I wish all of my VCSC colleagues, educators, students, and parents the very best.”
