EDGAR COUNTY, Ill. (WTWO/WAWV) – Two victims of a Thursday afternoon single-vehicle crash in Edgar County, Ill. were flown to a local hospital with serious injuries.
Illinois State Police said the crash happened around 4:45 p.m. on IL Route 49, about a half mile south of Edgar County Road 1800 N. According to police, Shauna N. Campbell, 30, of Marshall, Ill., and a 14-year-old also of Marshall were injured when their vehicle, a Dodge Grand Caravan, left the road a hit a ditch before overturning.
Police cited the driver for improper lane usage and operate uninsured motor vehicle.
