TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) – Indiana Governor Eric Holcomb made a campaign stop at Rick’s Smokehouse in Terre Haute on Thursday.
This past weekend, Governor Holcomb announced he’s running for re-election.
He says his successes over the past four years include boosting the economy, investing in infrastructure and helping Hoosiers skill-up.
One thing he says he wants to continue working toward is making the workforce healthy.
“It is absolutely mental health. It is addiction issues. It is just your general health and wellbeing. We do have, as I said, we have programs out there for different profiles, for different populations. We want to make sure that we’re making folks aware that they are there and then we do need to continue to scale up, so they’re closer, they’re accessible,” says Governor Holcomb.
Vigo County was one of several campaign stops so far this week. He started the day with a stop in Vanderburgh County.
