Judge Dismisses Suit Against One Man Accused Of Being Responsible For Students Death

A federal judge has dismissed a civil lawsuit filed against one of three men who were with an Indiana University student the night she disappeared in 2011.

Robert and Charlene Spierer say that Michael Beth, Corey Rossman and Jason Rosenbaum were the last ones to see their daughter 20-year-old Lauren alive and that they didn't ensure safely while she was drunk and incapacitated.

Beth’s attorney said his client provided no alcohol to Spierer and he said the judge’s decision to dismiss the case was accurate.

Rossman's and Rosenbaum's attorneys also argued for the dismissal of the cases against their clients and the judge says that a ruling will be handed down by year's end.
